How to Deactivate Your Eurail / Interrail Mobile Pass
Overview
If you no longer plan to travel, you may need to deactivate your Eurail mobile pass to remain eligible for a refund. Deactivation ensures that your pass is not considered in use.
Before You Start
Make sure you meet the following conditions before proceeding:
- Your pass has not been activated or used
- Your device has a stable internet connection
- You have access to the Rail Planner app
Steps to Deactivate Your Eurail Mobile Pass
Step 1: Open the Rail Planner app.
Launch the app and log in to your account.
Step 2: Go to "My Pass."
Tap on "My Pass" and select the relevant pass.
Step 3: Access Pass Options
Tap on the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner and select "Deactivate Pass."
Step 4: Confirm Deactivation
Tap "Confirm" on the pop-up to proceed.
Step 5: Deactivation Successful
Your pass status will update to Deactivated.
Important Notes
- Once deactivated, the pass cannot be used for travel unless reactivation is permitted.
- Deactivation does not automatically initiate a refund.
- Refund eligibility depends on the pass conditions and usage status.
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to deactivate your pass:
- Ensure the app is updated to the latest version
- Check your internet connection
- Log out and log back in to the app
- Contact customer support if the issue persists
