The Good Night Train, the unique way of travel through Europe!
European Sleeper was founded in 2021 with one clear mission: to make night train travel a comfortable, sustainable, and adventurous alternative once again.
Ambitious, the mission is to add a new train connection every year. Different, European Sleeper is organised as a cooperative.
Many European destinations are covered, and more will be.
I. Routes and travel times

European Sleeper links Europe overnight on two routes: Paris to Berlin and Brussels to Prague.
A third route is planed for September 2026: Brussels to Milan.

European Sleeper vintage night train — where classic charm meets modern comfort.
Four comfort classes of services to meet traveler expectations:
Comfort Plus
For couples and solo travellers seeking a restful night.

- The most comfortable option - max of 3 beds per compartment
- These sleeping car compartments come with seats and a table
- Washbasin in the compartment, toilets elsewhere in the carriage
- A comfortable mattress with a fully made-up bed
- Compartments can be locked from the inside
- Wake-up call at the desired time
- Towel and toiletries included
- Breakfast, mineral water and welcome drink included
- More drinks and snacks can be purchased from the train crew
- Compartments can be booked as single, double and triple
- Mixed-gender travel, except in the women-only compartment
Comfort standard

- Max 3 beds per couchette compartment
- Compact bed size (60 cm × 175-185 cm on average)
- A comfortable mattress with a fully prepared bed with fresh sheet, pillow and duvet
- These compartments come with a 3 person couch, small window table and big fold up table
- Compartments can be locked from the inside
- Washbasin and toilets not in the compartment, but available in the corridor
- Mineral water included
- Breakfast, drinks and snacks can be purchased from the train crew
- Compartments can be booked as single, double and triple
- Mixed-gender travel, except in the women-only compartment
Classic

- 5 person compartment in a classic couchette carriage
- Seats during the day, comfortable couchettes at night
- Big fold-up table available for during the day
- Blanket, sheet and pillow are included for all passengers
- Washroom and toilet are in the corridor
- Compartments can be locked from the inside
- Mineral water included
- Breakfast can be added to your booking for an additional fee
- Drinks and snacks can be purchased from the train crew
- Available as a private compartment
- Mixed gender, unless booked as Women-Only
Budget

- Most affordable travel option
- Seats available in 6-person compartments
- Or seats with tables in our open-plan spaces
- Seat reservations included
- Toilets are in the corridor
- Breakfast can be added to your booking for an additional fee
- Drinks and snacks can be purchased from the train crew
🧳 Luggage can be stored in the spacious area above the corridor door, or simply on the floor. There’s no need to worry about weight limits or measurements.
Restaurant, onboard services:
- Our onboard menu offers soft and hot drinks, snacks, and a selection of alcoholic drinks. Earplugs are also available for a good night. Simply scan the QR code in your compartment to order.
- ES 453 towards Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague: catering stops at 23:00 and the stewards are available for enquiries until midnight and from 5:30 in the morning.
- ES 452 in the direction of Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels: catering stops at 23:30 and stewards are available for enquiries until 00:30 and from 6:00 in the morning.
In both directions, morning catering starts from 6:30. Pre-booked breakfasts will be handed over personally by the steward, also if you disembark before 6:30.

IV. Booking Horizon
These trains can be booked up to 180 days in advance - TBC
V. Ticketing Time Limits
TTL (Ticketing Time Limit) lasts twenty-five minutes from booking date/time
VI. Exchange / Refunds
- Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased
- Easy Night: no refund for cancellations of an Easy Night ticket,
- Good Night: 100% refund for cancellations of Good Night tickets up to 30 days before departure and 50% refund for cancellations up to 15 days before departure,
- Flex Night: 100% refund for cancellations of Flex Night tickets up to 48 hours before departure
VII. Check-in procedure
No specific condition applies, however it is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.
