Spain - Iryo trains

Spain's first private high-speed rail company. Consortium made by three shareholders: Air Nostrum, Trenitalia and Globalvia. First circulations started with the Madrid-Barcelona axis in . Network is expanding progressively. Iryo train is the most modern train in Europe.

I. Routes and Travel times

Today, travelers from Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia, Cuenca, Alicante, Cordoba, Malaga, Seville, Albacete and Antequera are the first to be able to choose between more frequencies, better service and affordable prices.

II. Onboard services

Iryo combins design, comfort and technology to offer the best quality services to customers

All seats are leather, precious space between seats for more comfort, and a warm lighting in the coaches.

Coaches also have single, double and four-person tables, USB and standard sockets, individual armrests and 5G.

Train is splits into four different classes of services:

• Singular Only YOU: The perfect workspace for entrepreneurs and companies 

• Passengers can select individual or teamwork tables and enjoy the convenience of being close to the bar.
• Individual care from iryo Assistants during the journey, on board and in the iryo customer service area at every station.

• Singular: Comfort and facilities for your work trips. 

• Personalised customer service from iryo assistants both onboard and at the station.
• In addition, dining options in the HAIZEA café or from our Mobile Bar. Wide range of premium drinks, snacks and coffee

• Inicial:​ A space designed for every type of traveller.

• iryo's most economic fare without compromising on the best servicer and comfort.

• In addition, you can enjoy our dining options in the HAIZEA café or from our Mobile Bar. Wide range of premium drinks, snacks and coffee without waiting served to your seat.  

• Infinita Bistró: 

High comfort without limits with the Bistro Dining Service.

• All-inclusive package, providing top-of-the-line travel amenities and the utmost flexibility in the finest comfort zone on board.
• HAIZEA food and drink experience with "Full menus with seasonal products" included available at seat (default menu available), a welcome beverage based on your departure time, and speciality wines.
• Individual care from iryo Assistants during the journey, on board and in the iryo customer service area at every station.
• No longer available on route to / from Alicante from 1 July, 2025

Included in all fares

• 1 piece of hand luggage (36 x 27 x 15 cm)
• 1 piece of cabin luggage (55 x 35 x 25 cm)

Extra Luggage

• 1 piece of luggage (80 x 55 x 35 cm) included in Singular, Singular Only YOU, and Infinita Bistro (up to October 2. Then, included in Infinita and Infinita Bistro.
• 1 piece can be added for an extra €20 with the Inicial Superior fare, and a second extra piece of luggage for an extra €10 when travelling on an Infinita Bistro fare

From July 14, 2025: 40€ fine will apply if passenger is not respecting the luggage size, dimensions will be controlled at boarding gate

VI. Exchange / Refunds

• Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased
• Refunds can only be performed by the issuing agency
• Exchange will be manually processed upon request

VII. Specific to this train

• Ticket control and passport checks will occur before boarding IRYO trains.
• It is open 30 minutes before the train leaves and is closed 2 minutes before departure.
