I. Routes and travel times
EUROSTAR travel through the Channel Tunnel and runs at speeds of up to 186 mph (300km/h) on high speed lines in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain. Clients board the train in the centre of London and arrive in the centre of Paris 2 hours and 15 minutes later or in the centre of Brussels 1 hour 51 minutes later.

Eurostar snow - Continental routes (red train)

III. Individual fare types

- Please note that Youth & Senior passengers will pay an adult fare, no discounted fare applies.
- Children under 4 years old travel for free on an adult's lap and just need a passport; no ticket is needed. You can only take one infant per adult.
- In Business Premier, a child is entitled to travel but will pay an adult fare.

IV. Booking horizon
These trains can be booked from 180 days and up to 240 days in advance for the core routes.

V. Ticketing time limits
- If the booking is made more than 15 days before departure, it can be put on-hold for 5 days up until D-15.
- If the booking is made within 15 days before departure, it can be put on-hold for 72 hours up until 12 hours before departure.
- If the booking is made within 12 hours of departure, immediate ticketing is required
- Offer search expiration: up to 1 hour

VI. Exchange / Refund

- In Europe, exchange can be performed at any Eurostar Station (Paris Nord, London St Pancras International, Bruxelles Midi, Calais-Frethun, Amsterdam, Rotterdam) or by contacting the issuing travel agency.
- Special cancellation fees apply to some fares.
- Refunds, when authorised by the fare policy, can only be performed in the issuing country within 2 months from Train’s Departure Date.

VII. Check-in procedures
Since April 2, 2024, the Advanced Information Passenger (API) is now required to be filled-in by each passenger before boarding the train to / from London, for any individual bookings or exchange made from April 2nd.
Passenger needs to fill-in the UK government required details (today on Eurostar.com page) before getting their ticket. Here a FAQ with some further details.

Travellers must follow the "Ticket Gate Time Limit" indicated on their ticket under "Additional Information”: This is a very important information to ensure passenger to have enough time to go through all procedures before boarding.
- Gate closing: time is minimum 30-45 minutes before train departure.
- Allow time for scanning tickets, border control, security checks, it can take up to one hour or more in case of busy trains/stations.
- Ticket control and passport checks will occur onboard the Eurostar when traveling on the Continental routes
- Children less than 12 years old travelling alone are not accepted on board Eurostar trains on the Continental routes.
- Disabled persons or persons with reduced mobility who require assistance must arrive at the ticket gates at least 75 minutes before their scheduled departure time.
- Travellers need their ticket, immigration documents, and passport (identity card, passport, visa, if necessary) for each person, including babies
- The ticket gates at Brussels-Midi/Zuid open once the previous train has departed, so the ticket gates will close at varying times
- Immigration Control - done both upon exiting Schengen (by French police) and upon entering the UK (UK border force).
- All nationalities can go through manual controls with a valid passport
- To use the automatic e-Gates upon departure from Schengen, travellers must be EU, EEA citizens, over the age of 18, and have a valid electronic passport. Travellers from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States must still use the Manual gates.
- To use the automatic e-Gates upon arrival in the UK, travellers must be EU, EEA citizens, over the age of 12, and have a valid electronic passport. Since May 20, 2019, travellers from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, and the United States are also eligible to use the e-Gates upon arrival in the UK.
- Please note: Eurostar may be conducting sporadic security checks (baggage and personal checks) at Brussels-Midi, Antwerp-Central and Liège-Guillemins stations since July 1, 2017. Please plan accordingly and allow additional time to board your train.
- Security checks occur as well in German and Dutch stations, there is no specific security checking in place in those stations served by Eurostar.

VIII. Specific to this train
Immigrations
- Passport, baggage and security checks will take place at the Eurostar Terminals for the to /from London routes, and on board trains on the Continental routes.
- If client is not a citizen of the European Union , he is required to fill in an Immigration card for entry into the UK. These are made available in the Eurostar terminals.
Unaccompanied Minors
- Children under 12 must travel with a responsible person aged 16 or older
- Children 12 to 15 (inclusive) can travel on their own, as long as they have a fully completed Eurostar unaccompanied minor form. This must be signed by their parent/legal guardian at the station in the presence of a member of the Eurostar team. The child will need to keep this signed form with them throughout the journey and show it to the onboard team if asked
- Children cannot travel unaccompanied on he direct route London<>Netherlands and between Brussels<>Netherlands.
- 16 to 18-year olds can travel by themselves, as long as they have all the usual travel documents and meet all legal requirements
Luggage Allowance
- With the exception of the Eurostar Snow and Eurostar Sun trains, each passenger may bring a maximum of 3 pieces of luggage on board the train:
- two pieces of luggage measuring at most 75cm x 53cm x 30cm
- one piece of hand luggage
- There is no weight restriction for luggage. However, passengers must be able to carry all of their luggage by themselves.
- A passenger travelling with a child may bring one pushchair/stroller/pram on board in addition to the three authorized pieces of luggage above, as long as it is folded before boarding and properly placed in one of the storage areas in the car in which the passenger is booked.
- Special Items: Passengers may bring luggage that is larger than the standard size, if it is carried in a slipcover not exceeding 2 metres and it is not on the list of prohibited items. Passengers travelling with special items may also bring at most one piece of luggage measuring no more than 75cm x 53cm x 30cm and one piece of hand luggage. Again, passengers must be able to carry all of their luggage by themselves.
- Bicycles: Passengers may bring a bicycle on board if both wheels are removed. The bike must be a flexible bag measuring at most 135cm x 85cm x 30cm, which must entirely cover the whole bicycle when disassembled. In addition to the bike, the passenger may bring one standard piece of luggage and one piece of hand luggage. Again, passengers must be able to carry all of their luggage, including the bicycle, by themselves. Folding bikes are considered standard luggage if they measure no more than 75cm x 53cm x 30cm when folded. If travelling with a bicycle, passengers must be on the platform at least 30 minutes before the train’s departure time.
- In the event of excess baggage or failure to meet these conditions, travellers on Eurostar may be charged a fee of €30 per case or have the excess luggage refused to be carried on board..
- Passengers travelling in the Eurostar Snow train departing from Amsterdam or Brussels to Bourg Saint Maurice can store their luggage in the secure area at the front of the train (not accessible during the trip).
- Children travelling on a child’s ticket can take 1 piece of luggage (up to 85cm long) and 1 piece of hang luggage. Children under 4 that are travelling for free do not have a luggage allowance
- Prams/strollers travel for free in addition to the individual allowance, but will need to be folded and stored in the luggage rack above the seat.
- Golf clubs may be taken directly on board if in a bag with a maximum length of 120x35x35cm to/from any destination. This will count as 1 item of a traveller’s individual allowance.
- Skis and snoboards travel for free in addition to the individual allowance, must be kept in a protective case that covers the whole item.
- Musical instruments smaller than 85 cm long and guitars can travel with you as part of your luggage allowance. Guitars must be in a case.
Benefit from free transfers
- A Eurostar ticket departing from or arriving at Brussels-Midi is also valid for any regular (non-Eurostar) train to Brussels North, Central, Brussels-Luxembourg and Brussels Schuman stations.
- A Eurostar ticket departing from or arriving at Antwerpen Centraal (Anvers) station is also valid for any regular (non-Eurostar) train to Antwerpen-Berchem station.
Disabled Travellers
- A special fare is available for travellers in wheelchairs. On board Eurostar trains, these have a special area for wheelchairs in Comfort 1 (1st class) in cars 1, 11 and 21. Toilets have been modified to improve access.
- Travel in a wheelchair is possible only if the wheelchair is no larger than the following dimensions:
- 70cm wide/120cm long
- Turning circle: 150cm
- Maximum weight: 300kg including occupant and luggage
- Only manual/electric wheelchairs are allowed on board. Chairs with combustion engines may not board Eurostar trains.
- Companions are eligible for a special Companion rate, provided they present evidence showing the need for a companion.
- Help when boarding the train is available for disabled travellers who inform the station of this before departure by calling the numbers below. Assistance cannot be guaranteed if it isn’t requested within the time frames above:
- In Belgium: +32 (0)2 528 28 28 every day from 7 am to 9:30 pm. Assistance can be requested as soon as your Eurostar journey is reserved and at the latest 24 hours before departure
- In France: +33 (0)8 90 64 06 50 every day from 7am to 9:30pm. Assistance can be requested as soon as your Eurostar journey is reserved and at the latest 48 hours before departure
- In the Netherlands: +31 (0)3 02 35 78 22. Assistance must be requested at the latest 24 hours before departure
- In Germany: +49 (0)1 806 512 512 from Monday to Friday, 6am to 10pm and Saturdays, 8am to 2pm. Assistance must be requested at the latest by 8pm the day before departure
Animals
- Pets travel for free on Eurostar trains if carried in a container no larger than 45x30x25cm and if they weigh no more than 6kg.
- The traveller may travel with a maximum of 2 pets. All pets must be up to date with their vaccinations and their vaccination paperwork must travel with them.
- Pets weighing over 6kg may travel outside a container as long as they are muzzled, so as not to bother the other passengers. Dogs not transported in a container are allowed on board only by purchasing a ticket at the "Dog" rate locally. At the request of another passenger, the Train Manager may move an animal and its owner to another part of the train.
- Guide dogs assisting blind people and service dogs travel for free.
- Dangerous dogs, wild animals, and birds are not allowed on board.
- Except for guide dogs and service dogs, animals are not allowed on board Eurostar Snow and Eurostar Sun service.
IMPORTANT: Travelling in the Netherlands
Many train stations in the Netherlands have platforms with entry/exit gates. To enter or exit from the train’s platform, traveller’s will need to pass through these gates that are controlled with a bar code reader.
Eurostar e-tickets have a square barcode which can be scanned at the entry/exit point of the platform. On trains originating in Germany and traveling into the Netherlands, the train personnel will provide you with a keycard to use to exit the platform.
- Step 1: Go to a gate with ‘scan ticket’ sign.
- Step 2: Hold the square barcode against the illuminated area.
- Step 3: The gate will open and you can now leave or enter the platform. If there is no square barcode on the ticket or the barcode does not work and the gates do not open, push the blue info button on the post near the gate and travellers will be connected to a station employee who will assist them.
