II. Onboard services

  • All trains are non smoking
  • In both 1st and 2nd class, this TGV offers comfortable seats, ergonomic headrests and footrests, a fold-down tray table suitable for laptop and an individual magazine carrier.
  • 2+2 seats in 2nd class vs 2+1 seats in 1st class
  • A space for a wheelchair is available in 1st class. It must be requested at the time of reservation

First class

  • Extra legroom, larger and reclining seats
  • A Solo seat for peace and privacy
  • 2 adjoining seats or a Club space for working in groups of two or four.
  • Electrical power sockets at each seat
  • Access to the bar-buffet car
  • Access to the lounge with a Business 1st class fare (only in Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon Part Dieu and Marseille)

Second class

  • 2 adjoining seats or a 4 seats for travel in groups or families of four.
  • Access to the bar-buffet car

Other services

  • On board nursery: equipped with a dressing table and a bottle-warmer (in 2nd class car)
  • A choice of newspapers and magazines to buy at the bar
  • A bar and food counter: open for the duration of the journey. You will find a variety of food and refreshments to enjoy in the bar car: breakfast formula, meals, warm and cold dishes, sandwiches, dessert, warm and cold beverages
  • Facilities for disabled travellers: on all major routes, the TGV have a special coach in 1st class (accessible with a second class ticket) which has built-in wheelchair lift and a bookable space for a wheelchair. Facilities in stations.

  • Booking can be kept on hold status up to 7 days from the booking date/time.
  • Offer search expiration: up to 1 hour

VI. Exchange / Refund

  • Cancellation fees might apply
  • Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased
  • Refunds can only be performed in the issuing country, up to 60 days after departure date as long as the seat has been released before the train departure
  • For any exchange or refund, seat must be released before train departure, it can be done directly in station

VII. Check-in procedures

There is no customs procedures before boarding TGV’s trains

  • Check-in: trains doors will close 2 minutes prior to departure. It is recommended to come 30 minutes prior to train departure especially for groups.
  • Check-in through SNCF gates by scanning your ticket in most of French stations.
  • Ticket control and passport checks will occur on board the train

VIII. Specific to this train

Luggage tag

  • On all French Trains, it is mandatory to place a tag on each piece of luggage identifying the traveller

Validation of the ticket

  • Validation of the ticket before boarding is mandatory in France only
  • Travellers must scan their e-tickets when passing the gates, at the entrance of the platform, prior to entering the train.
