Reminder: Due to a landslide that occurred on Sunday August 27, 2022 on the railroad track in the commune of Saint-André in the Maurienne valley, rail traffic between Saint Michel de Maurienne and Modane was interrupted for an undetermined period, meanwhile a temporary solution was implemented on Paris-Lyon.
I. Routes and Travel Times
New route Paris-Marseille is now operating as well since June 15, 2025
Also, since December 15, 2024, Frecciarossa now operates trains to/from Oulx and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne on Saturdays and Sundays

Tickets are issued as Combined Ticket (ticket + reservation) Reservation is compulsory Open Ticket not authorised onboard Frecciarossa..
Modes of printing available
Ticketless (you receive a confirmation by email, no need to print it but you must give the reference and a proof of ID to the Train Manager. However if you do need to exchange your ticket locally yo will need this email confirmation printed). Passenger’s name must match the passport.

IV. Booking Horizon
- These trains can be booked up to 180 days (6 months) in advance
- Please note the booking horizon can be shorter due to timetable changes in the 2nd week of December and June

VII. Check-in procedures
- There are no check-in or customs procedures before boarding Frecciarossa trains however we recommend to arrive in advance at the station.
- Ticket control and passport checks will occur on board the train.
- Train coach doors will close 1 minute prior to departure for all Trenitalia domestic long-haul trains (Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca, IC, and ICNight). Access to the train is allowed until that time and no later.
