Eurail has been renamed to Interrail, bringing travellers worldwide together under one global brand and one Pass, no matter what their residency is.

If you're new to travelling with a Interrail mobile Pass, getting started may feel unfamiliar. Don't worry - we've put together a simple step-by-step guide to help you through the process, from activating your Pass to boarding your first train.

The process to start using your Interrail Pass follows Interrail's official requirements, carefully designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
Before Travel
Ensure your customers:
- Have installed the Rail Planner app
- Have your Pass number and last name (from your confirmation email)
- Know that your Pass must be activated before boarding your first train

Important Information
- Your mobile Pass is your ticket โ it will generate a QR code in the app
- You donโt always need internet access to show your ticket, but you will need it to set up and manage your journeys
- Some trains require seat reservations in addition to your Pass
