- If the deposit is not paid within 09 days, the booking expires and is automatically cancelled.

- If you change your booking before the deposit has been received, the amount of the deposit will be recalculated.
Balance - Balance must be paid 30 days before the day of departure
- If the booking is made less than 38 days before the departure date, the balance must be paid in full.
- If the balance is not paid 30 days before departure, the booking is automatically cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.
- If you change your booking after the deposit has been received but before the balance has been paid, the balance will be recalculated.
- If you change your booking after the deposit has been received but before the balance has been paid, the date on which the balance is due will not change.

- The number of passengers can be changed. However, the group must always comprise at least 10 passengers.
- There is no exchange fee, but the price difference between the original tickets and the new tickets must be paid. If the new price is lower, the price difference will not be refunded.
- Exchanged tickets stay under the same PNR
- You can change to a different travel class (Standard to Comfort or Premium, or Premium or Comfort to Standard) but the price difference is never refunded*.
Refund - 80% refundable until D-30
- 50% refundable between D-30 and D-12
- Not refundable from 11 days until departure day
- Please be advised that group booking fees are non-refundable and are not included in ticket refunds
Additional conditions - You cannot change the type of passenger (from adult to child, for example).
- You cannot add a passenger to an existing PNR
- According to the new policy from the rail carrier, there is a 20 EUR fee per person if you wish to change the group name once seats are on hold. Therefore, we kindly request that you enter the correct group name in the itinerary and avoid using special characters or numbers, as these cannot be accepted as a valid group name.

- If the group travels with Swiss pass, participants will not have to pay for the open ticket, only the seat reservation (surcharge).

Luggage: there are three spaces to store luggage: above seats in the small overhead luggage racks, beneath seats and in the dedicated luggage areas by the doorways. Luggage cannot be placed on seats intended for fellow passengers. 

Although there’s no weight restriction, luggage must be managed without additional assistance. The train company can carry anything (within reason) that fits on our train, however, if it exceeds the free allowance, we may need to charge extra for it on board the train.

The Gotthard Panorama Express offers a scenic journey between Lucerne and Lugano, combining a lake cruise with a panoramic train ride through the historic Gotthard route and Base Tunnel.
