OLYMPICS

The Organising Committees for the Olympic Games will limit the access in Paris and in the train stations during the event.

SNCF VOYAGEURS has therefore decided not to allow groups arriving at, departing from or connecting with Paris stations to travel on these dates.

Opening ceremony on July 26:

• Group travel will not be bookable from, to or from all Paris stations.
• Departures/arrivals from/to the South-East of France, from/to the East and from/to the North will be transferred to Roissy TGV and Marne la Vallée TGV stations on inter-sector TGVs (not serving Paris intramuros stations).
• Departures/arrivals for the Atlantic coast will be transferred to Massy TGV station on inter-sector TGVs (not serving Paris intramuros stations).
• For all these destinations, group acceptance quotas on inter-sector TGVs have been increased accordingly.

July 27, August 3 and August 4:

• Group travel will not be bookable on departure, arrival or connection at Paris Gare de Lyon and Paris Gare du Nord stations.
• On these dates, group journeys departing from or arriving at these two stations will be transferred to Roissy TGV and Marne la Vallée TGV stations on inter-sector TGVs (not serving Paris intramuros stations).
