Interrupted train service on the Basel SBB - Karlsruhe Hbf line between Freiburg(Breisgau) Hbf and Offenburg.
This is due to a defect in the overhead line. The restriction lasts at least until 12:00.

Bologna - Florence line: from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday 8 February, traffic between Bologna Centrale and Pianoro will be suspended for the removal of war remnants.
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 8th, by order of the Bologna Prefecture, train service between Bologna Centrale and Pianoro will be suspended. This suspension is necessary to allow for the removal of unexploded ordnance found in Rastignano near the railway line.

LNER - Multiple Disruptive Incidents - Wednesday 28 January
LNER experienced multiple disruptive incidents yesterday which impacted LNER services due to a person being hit by a train between Peterborough and London Kings Cross in the early hours, a fault on a train between Leeds and Doncaster and, a fault with the signalling system between Peterborough and London Kings Cross.
You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay or you chose not to travel as your train was cancelled.

For all affected trains, passengers are entitled to one of the following options:

HIGH-SPEED SERVICE DISRUPTION BETWEEN MADRID AND ANDALUSIA – ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT PLAN
20 January, an Alternative Transport Plan is activated to guarantee mobility for people affected by the accident that occurred in Adamuz (Córdoba).
This plan will remain in place while the high-speed line between Madrid and Andalusia is out of service. Alternative Transport Plan combines, under a single travel ticket, the journeys that will be offered through special services, which include road transfers by bus between Córdoba and Villanueva de Córdoba, in both directions, increasing travel times.

TGV INOUI: France Italy Works in 2026
Service interruption between Paris and Milan from 14 September to 13 October 2026
The year 2026 will be marked by several interruptions and adjustments to the transport plan on the
Paris Milan line, due to infrastructure works carried out in Italy and in the Maurienne area. Below are the key points to help anticipate the impacts on train services and passengers
Service interruption between Turin and Modane – First half of 2026
Several weekends in the first half of 2026 will be affected by a complete interruption of traffic between Turin and Modane, due to works scheduled by RFI (the Italian infrastructure manager).

21–22 March 2026
11–12 April 2026
18–19 April 2026
15–17 May 2026 (long weekend)
6–7 June 2026
During these periods, no trains will operate on the Paris Milan line. Passengers will need to postpone their trips to dates that are not affected.
Important note: RFI may modify or cancel its work at any time, which could lead to last‑minute adjustments to the transport plan.
Reduced service plan

From 26 May to 12 June 2026 : 2 round trips per day instead of 3
From 15 June to 17 July 2026 : 1 round trip per day instead of 3
These adjustments aim to respond to operational constraints linked to the work and reduced capacity on the line.

Major infrastructure works in the Maurienne area will lead to a full interruption of the Paris Milanline for one month.

Trenitalia: Guaranteed minimum services in the event of a strike
On strike days, Trenitalia ensures minimum transport services, listed below, deemed suitable by the Guarantee Commission for the implementation of Law 146/1990.
Trains that are on their way after the strike has started will still arrive at their final destination if it can be reached within an hour of the start of the industrial action; After this period, trains can stop at stations prior to their final destination.

Due to engineering works near Basel SBB, until early 2027 selected TGV Lyria trains will operate on this route with amended timetables. This means altered stops, longer journey times as well as earlier or later departures and arrivals at Basel SBB and Zurich HB. But don’t worry, when you book your tickets, it’s the amended times that will be displayed.
Services will be suspended on the following weekends: 28 February–1 March 2026 and 25–26 April 2026. During these periods, no TGV Lyria or high-speed services will operate on the route. We recommend that you travel on another date, if possible.
Paris<>Lausanne
Due to engineering works between Geneva and La Plaine, TGV Lyria Paris ↔ Lausanne via Geneva services will continue to operate on the Paris ↔ Geneva line, but will not stop at Lausanne.
Customers travelling to or departing from Lausanne should take a TGV Lyria Paris ↔ Geneva service, then continue their journey with a SBB Geneva ↔ Lausanne service.

In relation to the Madrid-Barcelona Corridor , as as a consequence of Temporary Speed Limitations in different As announced by the infrastructure manager (ADIF), journeys between Madrid and Barcelona may experience delays beyond the operator's control. Therefore, for tickets purchased after January 28, 2026, standard delay compensation policies will not apply.
Additionally, starting February 5th, an Alternative Transportation Plan (PAT) will be implemented in Coordination with ADIF is necessary due to maintenance work on the Madrid-Barcelona Corridor infrastructure. This plan involves timetable adjustments, with an estimated increase of 25 minutes in travel times , as well as the Temporary cancellation of two services (16:37 from Madrid and 8:45 from Barcelona). These adjustments are already published on our website and sales channels, reflecting the new travel times. Affected passengers are being rebooked on other trains or can request a full refund . The measures will be in effect until February 7th . at this time, and the information will be updated based on the progress of the work.

No trains to/from Manchester Piccadilly 14-22 February
From 14 to 22 February, the line between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport is closed for major improvement work. Replacement buses will run between these stations, meaning journeys between Manchester and London will take longer. Avanti West Coast will be running two trains per hour to/from London Euston (one via Wilmslow and Crewe, one via Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent). The mornings of Sunday 1 and 22 March are also affected, with replacement buses again in place until 12:30.
Other routes, including via nearby Warrington and Wigan, are running to and from London normally on these dates.
Other train operators running in and around Manchester may also be affected by this planned upgrade work.
